The mathematics thoughtway is the link for the formation of the students'good cognitive structure, and it is also the bridge for knowledge changing into ability. In mathematics teaching, students'becoming creative talents is based on their mastering the scientific thoughtway, and the scientific thoughtway is the only way to training high-tech research talents and meeting the challenges of the new century and for international high-tech.This paper is aimed at enhancing the cognition of the mathematics thoughtway by digging the deeper meaning. It focuses on the mathematical thinking way's application to the calculus teaching. Combined with teaching practices, it helps the students develop good mathematics thoughtway and then guide them to learn calculus and other courses. It has opened up new ideas for their learning and played a good role in foundations solidifying.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter discusses the background of this research, some domestic and international literature documents, significance of mathematics thoughtway's research as well as the research methods used in the subject. Chapter II focuses on the concepts of mathematical methods and thought, the relationship between mathematical thought and methods, the relationship between mathematical knowledge and mathematical thought as well as the characteristics of mathematical thoughtway to elaborate the essential meanings and thus deepen their understanding of the mathematics thoughtway's cognition. Chapter III discusses the principles of mathematical thoughtway for teaching, analyzes the commonly used the mathematical thoughtway in teaching calculus by integrating my years of teaching practice and points out several aspects in teaching: 1. It needs to develop long-term effective penetration of the mathematical thoughtway and training mechanisms; 2. Focus on students'thinking and understanding of mathematical ideas; 3. Concerned about the student's "learning situation" and handle problems in a timely manner;4. Produce favorable learning environment. In the fourth chapter, it compares and analyzes the initial data from the questionnaire surveys to prove that the mathematical thoughtway played a good role in vocational mathematics teaching. Then analyze several specific calculus teaching cases; Finally directly test on the experimental class compared with the comparative test class. Chapter V is the conclusion of this paper, briefly outlining the main idea of this paper and the significance of mathematical thought in mathematics teaching.
