AWS (automatic weather station) has become the primary means of modern meteorological observations, which are widely applied to improve monitoring capacity on a regional disaster weather. With the station network basically completed, management and maintenance of the site have to face the situation that lack of the fault information warning or some kinds of monitoring situation, and can not fully understand the system's real-time operating status. As a business, so long barrier failure response time and the number of frequent, serious impact on meteorological data of the business applications. Meanwhile, poor management ways lead to heavy workload and low maintenance level, is not conducive to improving the quality of maintenance personnel business, also is not conducive to the application of forecasting services. This project involves the informatization and database technology, and having a positive exploration about the development of AWS monitoring system. The first to be standing system structure was studied, and the technical scheme determined, then discussed the development platform based on SQL Server database, use storage process, triggers and database connection technology as technical support, finally establish and design the system information model. This monitoring system consists of real-time processing, data processing, SMS transceiver three parts.Studies show that this method can provides messaging, expanded service, also can further improve service quality, through this way remind the system manager and ensure the all-weather track in the short-term forecast to avoid weather warning signal omission or leakage, and effectively improve the business efficiency and service quality.
