The weather forecast has been applied in production, life, economy, military and other areas, and the relationship between the people more and more close, while bring convenience to people, also has been affected by accuracy. Subject to the current scientific level, the weather forecast has not yet formed an effective method and theoretical system, is currently a major problem. Real time observation of meteorological data can improve the accuracy of weather forecast. The automatic weather station is an important method for meteorological data collection, which combines the advantage of wireless sensor and ground observation system, capable of automatic measurement of meteorological data, processing, storage and transmission, realize the real-time observation of the all-weather. However, due to the influence of surrounding environment and other factors, the data of automatic weather station often produce various kinds of errors, which seriously affect the accuracy of the weather forecast.To ensure the stable operation of weather station and reduce the error of data collection, can effectively improve the accuracy of weather forecast. Due to the high cost of automatic weather station construction, maintenance, at the cost of limited, cannot meet the comprehensive maintenance of all automatic site and equipment, seriously affected the observation results of the automatic weather station observation network. Based on the analysis of automatic weather station observation network and data collection features, the paper improves the accuracy of the meteorological data collection by optimizing the layout of automatic weather station.This article first analyzes the features of the automatic weather station observation network, using E-CARGO model to abstract, modeling, and described it as a collaborative system, and the layout optimization problem of automatic weather station is transformed into a group role assignment problem. The agents, roles and groups in the system are discussed, and the formal definition is given. Secondly, the problem of group role assignment in parallel mode is discussed. In order to solve the group role assignment under the parallel model, this paper puts forward the concept of master-slave role, and on this basis proposed a group role assignment algorithm based on master-slave role assignment. Finally, based on the historical meteorological data of the automatic station, this paper tests the effect of the optimization of the automatic station layout by using the proposed group role assignment method.The results of the experiments indicate that the proposed method in this paper has achieved a good effect in time efficiency and accuracy. Under the condition of cost-constrained, the paper improves the accuracy of the meteorological data collection and provides reliable data for weather forecast by optimizing the layout of automatic weather station. This study may provide references for automatic weather station layout optimization of a meteorological bureau.
