Study On Energy Consumption Of Economic Growth In Inner Mongolia

Energy is important material resource of human existence,economic development,and society process.It's important strategic material .but,when human need more and more energy to support their development,the effect of energy supply become more and more observably to human society and the environment.Therefore,it is worth studying the Balance relationship between energy consumption and economic growth .The paper generally analyses the influencing factors of the energy consumption,carries the economic-growth factor out of them,and studies more on it.and make used of Grey to rank the affecting factor of energy consumption .the paper also studied the changing law of the index of the relationship between economic-growth and energy consumption(the energy consumption index and the elasticity index of energyconsumption), concluded that the Energy consumption of Inner Mongolia index and energy consumption elasticity index were higher than the average of nation. It indicated that Inner Mongolia'energy consumption is low efficiency and the growth of economic was mainly driven by the energy consumption .According to the analysis above and the sustainable development theory, The paper concluded that Inner Mongolia would have "Dutch disease" in the future, to avoid "Dutch disease" symptoms intensified, The paper offered the measures.In addition, the paper also make use of VAR model to analyses the relationship among Energy -Economic - Environment of Inner Mongolia. Impulse response function and variance decomposition show that the energy consumption of Inner Mongolia will maintain a certain growth in the long run, the energy of Inner Mongolia will be exhausted.which is not consistent with sustainable development. Inner Mongolia's economic under the effect of energy consumption will continue to increase, but the growth is based on the expense of environment, the Environmental pollution of Inner Mongolia is also expanding to maintain an upward trend.At last,based on these basic conclusions and the concept of sustainable development,and according to viewpoint of scientific development,we try to establish the related policies of Inner Mongolia,such as changing the pattern of economic increase,adjusting energy structure,developing energy science and technology and coordinating the relation between energy,economics and environment.
