It has been aready 30 years since reform and opening up. Peopl's demand for travel is growing, all over the world are cary out a variety of tourism activities in base of their resources, it leads to enrich the forms of tourism, the diversity of the tourism content. Among the many tourist activities, events tourism especially festival tourism develops rapidly. Everywhere carrys out a variety of festival tourism to seek business opportunities.Based on this comprehensive analysis of domestic and international festivals papers in recent years, this thesis is to find "the Three Gorges Tourism Festival" marketing problems through the suway "Three Gorges International Tourism Festival" impact on Chongqing tourism. The aid is to make more appropriate marketing strategies, more conducive to promoting the image of Chongqing.The thesis is divided into four chapaters:Chapater one i introduce about the research background, research methods, research framework, the paper's innovations, as well as the theoretical and practical significance of research, and analysis of domestic and international festivalsChapater two is theoretical basis. Introduced the concept of festival tourism, such as classification and function, and introduces the theoretical basis of festival tourism marketing including relationship marketing, experiential marketing, brand marketing, network marketing.Chapater thress is overview of "The Three Gorges International Tourism Festival," amd related impact on the urban image of market research and problem from this research. In the base of theoretical analysis of the "Chongqing Three Gorges International Tourism Festival," though the overview and research on the impact of Tourism to find promotion problem. It mainly focus on the localization strategy, product strategy, marketing strategy and personnel policy form four areas of "The Three Gorges International Tourism "to promote" Chongqing Three Gorges International Tourism Festival.Chapater four is about positioning strategy of "The Thress Gorges International Trourism Festival", this thesis is expounded from product strategy, promotion strategy and brand stragtegy. It will be useful in promoting the development of tourism festival in Chongqing.
