The global value chains connect all value-created links that spread across the boarders and the enterprises, as well as the participants in different levels of value chain. The local enterprises can be involved in the world markets by enter into the global value chain; what's more, they can learn more advanced knowledge and techniques, which are considered to be the key factors to promote the enterprises'efficiency and competitiveness. World Service Industry transfer and offshore outsourcing have brought great opportunities for the development of modern service industry to china. Generally speaking, service outsourcing in china is still in the initial stage, and in the low-end position of global value chain. Therefore, how to promote the capabilities of the local service outsourcing enterprises under global value chain seems quite practically significant to be studied.First, based on the theory of the global value chain, this article studied the management, drive mechanism and upgrade issues of the service outsourcing value chain. Through the definition of the enterprise capability, we got that the nature of the enterprise capabilities is knowledge, while knowledge accumulation and diffusion largely depend on the knowledge transfer, which plays an important role in the promotion the enterprises'capabilities. In order to find a way for the service outsourcing enterprises, this article discussed the mechanisms and factors of knowledge transfer. In market intermediaries or non-market intermediaries way, knowledge transfer from the flagship enterprise to service provider through formal mechanisms and informal mechanisms. Knowledge transfer affected mainly by the knowledge transfer capacity of its flagship enterprise, service provider's absorptive capacity, barriers to knowledge transfer and the characteristics of knowledge. Then according to the problems that china's service outsourcing enterprises are facing, this article showed the ways of promotion enterprises'capabilities. Finally, based on the research of Neusoft Group and the previous theoretical analysis, this article summed up the ways of being involved in the global value chain, the mechanism of promotion enterprises'capabilities and the performance, meanwhile this case study tested the previous theory and research, which should be worth other enterprises learning, and add the ways of promotion enterprise'capabilities. |
