In 2007, as the global financial crisis were triggered by the U.S sub-prime mortgage crisis, the global economy is facing unprecedented difficulties and challenges, the pace of development is slowing down, it also have tremendous impact on China's economic development.In this situation, judge the development trends of the current international financial crisis rightly, understand the impact of the international financial crisis and in-depth study of the formation mechanisms and coping strategies, which is of great practical significance for maintaining sustained and rapid development of China's economy.In this paper, the author analyses social security and economic growth in general relations proceeding, pointing out that social security and economic development are closely linked and inseparable, the two interact and mutually reinforcing. Following, the article discusses China's economy suffered a number of implications under the context of global financial crisis and China's social security business is facing difficulties. Then, the author analyses social security and income distribution, income distribution and household consumption, household consumption and economic growth's relationship between each other respectively in detail. From above, we can make a conclusion that social security plays a very important role in promoting economic growth, meanwhile the effective implementation of social security policies can contribute greatly to economic growth, make our country out of trouble of the financial crisis as soon as possible and step into the normal economic development track. Finally, the author elaborated a series of measures urgently needed which China's response to the current international financial crisis in many ways.
