Collaborative Procurement Strategy Research Based On Value Chain

In the process of globalization, enterprises face new opportunities and challenges, Value chain management is receiving increasing attention from academic and business community. As a very important part of value chain system, Procurement causes for more concern. To address these issues, in this paper, under the system of value chain, collaborative procurement strategy is studied. Modeling and Simulation based on the theory of System Dynamics are done, a variety of collaborative procurement planform is built for different procurement strategies.In this paper,the following aspects of research are mainly taken:⑴Challenge and opportunity that faced by Manufacturer are analysised. Through the analysis of the concept of value chain management, inventory and supply management models, the importance of the collaborative procurement in the value chain is indicated. Generally introduces the applications of theoretical research of collaborative procurement.⑵According to the supply of material, combining the cost of procurement, the material of procurement is categorised. A variety of collaborative procurement strategy is proposed for different kinds of material.⑶With the theory of system dynamics, all kinds of Collaborative Procurement Strategies are modeled and simulated. The feasibility and superiority of the procurement strategy are analysed.⑷Practical applications are taken with the combinatioon of the results of theoretical studies and business requirements, Collaborative procurement platform is built,and good results are achieved.The research of this paper is an important part of value chain management, the results can be a powerful decision support for material procurement, meanwhile, the modeling and simulation based on the system dynamics is a theoretical guidance for the procurement operations. The collaborative procurement platform can support the material procurement, and it has higher vlue to promote.
