Study On Analysis And Evaluation Of Cultivated-land's Function In The Process Of Urbanization

At present, the urbanization process in China has entered a stage of accelerated development. With the scale of the rapid expansion of cities and towns, taking up arable land is relatively serious. It has a relationship with the people's lack of understanding of the various functions of cultivated land, and under-estimate the value of cultivated-land. The study on cultivated system function is related to Chinese food security problems, so it needs to sum up and raise people's understand of land function fully and adhere to stabilize the relationship between cultivated-land and food with the scientific concept of development. Therefore, to make the research of analysis and evaluation of cultivated system function in the process of urbanization and raise comprehensive awareness of the cultivated-land protection becomes particularly important.As Shaodong County for a case, the author systematically analyzed the data collected and had an objective analysis and evaluation of cultivated-land system function,on the basis of the related advanced theories and research methods. The main researches of this thesis are as follows:First, carried out exploratory functional classification and constructed the land-use system evaluation index system, and provided the basis for analysis and evaluation of cultivated-land system function..Second, the author fully summaried of the function and value of the modern cultivated-land system with production function, ecological function, social function of these three aspects and analysis of the content and features of the main functions of the cultivated -land system by refining and developing the existed academic research.Third, the further explore of dynamic changes of cultivated-land function and value in the process of urbanization in view of the complete functional understanding, and analysis of the functional performance and differences in different stages of urbanization process by using the pattern-process research methods, combined with the specific data.Forth, combined with a case studies of Shaodong County cultivated-land system function and to tested status of the theory. Analysis of the relationship between weakening of the cultivated-land function and urbanization of Shaodong County by use of statistical software and mathematical methods,and evaluated the function of the cultivated-land system of Shaodong County from 2000 to 2008 by making use of AHP and comprehensive index scoring-method.The results showed that:the function of cultivated-land is evolving with the development of urbanization. On the one hand, as China's urbanization phase of rapid development, the land functions of production, ecological, social have suffered different weakening phenomenon, its value has been increasing due to the scarcity of its resources. On the other hand, the weakening of the functions of cultivated-land has restricted the development of urbanization. Therefore, comprehensive understanding of land functions and value, easing the weakening trend of function of cultivated-land, reasonable using multiple functions, raising the national awareness of protection and ensuring regional food security is a major issue that it is urgently to explore, think and solve.
