"The six degrees of separation" concept originates from American social psychologist Stanley Milgram's "small world experiment" in 1967 that tracked chains of acquaintances in the United States. In the experiment, Milgram sent several packages to 160 random people living in Omaha, Nebraska, asked them to forward the package to a friend or acquaintance whom they thought would bring the package closer to a set final individual, a stockbroker from Boston, Massachusetts. And mostly people send the packages to the stockbroker. From the experiment, people have begun to realized that if we would find a person in the world, only needed 6 people to access it. That is the "Six Degrees of Separation". And the prototype of platform for SNS (Social Network Site).With the China's opening and reforming up to 30 years, the people's consumption is booming up following the boosting economy, the cyberspace has entered all the parts of our life. In the end of 2009, the internet users has account up to 384 million, and the amount will break through 500 million afer 2 or 3 years. How to lead the internet user apply the network more harmoniously and effectively and get more be profitable to the network company has become a urgent topic.In 2004, a website named "Facebook" born. The founder is Mark.Zuckerberg, a student of Harvard University. "Facebook" depends on the "The six degrees of separation" spreading rapidly. In the end of 2005, "Facebook" extended to all the U.S, Austria and New Zealand universities, colleges and high schools; In the end of 2006, the global user could register to the "Facebook"; In Sep.2009, "Facebook" global register users reached 300 million, and the valuation estimate exceeded 8 billion, all the investor think "Facebook" will bacome new "Microsoft" or "Google".At the same time, all the network company in China has acutely observed that "SNS" is a new gold mine after "Portal", "IM (instandly message)" and "Blog". In 2006, "XiaoNei", a SNS website cloned from "Facebook", began to operate. It was the mark of "SNS Warring States" in Chinese mainland. In May.2008, depended on some easily and interesting page game, "KaiXin001" sprung up. after it, Sohu "BaiSheHui", "Sina T" got rushed the stage, Chinese SNS became chaos.After the enthusiasm turbulency, the investors and the website operators must face to a very important problem issue:How to get the profit from the SNS? the ghost isn't only entangle Chinese SNS website, but also make trouble with to the SNS flagship, "Facebook". The internet bubble with last 10 year like on yesterday. Invertors worry about the SNS's developing in the future while they find the profitable mode of SNS are depending on the web advertisement.This paper will reveal the Core Capability value of SNS by from the SNS developing history and internet similars. We will illustrate a SNS website: "KaiXin001" to the foco point, analyse the same problems about the SNS. Finally, from the SNS profit matrix's investigation, the system to support the matrix, and how to operate the system, we will take the conclusion about SNS:"what to do?" "which to do?" and "How to use?" And we hope the paper can provide the constructive suggestions to the SNS commeraial field. The paper proposes "Customer Potential Value", "The Sixth Media" and "SNS Infomation Search Analyse System"(SISAS) concepts at the same time.
