| Modern science and technology which develops very fast not only improves people's material life but also makes their spiritual life richer. However, science and technology is a double blade sword. For one thing, it benefits human beings; for another, science and technology in use has caused a series of real ethics issues, especially in the food industry. In recent years, many food safety accidents happened in China have made people pay more attention to the use of science and technology in the food industry. Scientists and users of science and technology have been required to have higher ethics standard. Therefore, how to use science and technology properly, how to form an honest, healthy and harmonious ethics of science and technology to improve the food safety situation in our country, how to use science and technology to guarantee our food quality are becoming very difficult and important issues. The research was conducted from five aspects as follows: Firstly, the conceptions on food safety and scientific and technological ethics were introduced and analyzed simply. Besides, the author talked about the purpose and the meaning studying the food safety in our country.Secondly, taking the classic food safety accidents happened in China for example, and analyzing these food safety accidents simply based on the ethics of science and technology.Then, the author introduced the current situations in food industry of China and tried to explore those deep reasons caused the phenomenon.Next, the author discussed the ethical responsibilities of scientists and their groups; and also talked about the importance to burden the responsibilities of ethics for scientistsAt the end of this thesis, based on the issues discussed in the paper, the advice was explored on how to form proper ethical rules of science and technology, including the necessity, essential rules and actual measures building proper ethics of science and technology. |
