Research On Risk Evaluation And Control Of ERP Implementation

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP) is an important enterprise information management technology and system. ERP is based on information technology, uses advanced management ideas of modern enterprise, fully integrates all the resources of the enterprise's information and supply the enterprise with planning, control, and great performance, is the representative of technological progress and management in the world.ERP system is not just a management concept, but also a very effective modern management tool. ERP system embodies advanced modern management theories and methods, is a must of modern production management, involving a wide range of knowledge and technology such as management, information and manufacturing.ERP is a very complex system, whose application involves management thinking, management patterns change, improvement of management methods, enhancement of management foundation, business process reengineering, adjustment of organization structure and right re-allocation. At present, China does not have a scientific, systematic, standardized and effective project management for ERP system and operation mechanism. While the implementation of ERP system reflects the degree of enterprise infomationization, but on the whole, the benefits of ERP system implementation is not ideal. The lack of ERP knowledge, objectively increases the ERP project risk factor and has a direct impact on the ERP application level.In this paper, the process of ERP system implementation is analyzed through research on the key implementation activities and then try to identify risk factors so as to make a further risk assessment and risk control, at last this paper provides an effective risk management procedures and methods. Based on the theory of AHP, this paper proposed a risk index system of ERP implementation and built a model for ERP implementation risk assessment, combined a qualitative evaluation and quantitative evaluation and verify the feasibility of the model. Through research, the enterprise of the ERP system has a clear understanding of the domestic enterprises to improve the implementation of ERP projects risk awareness and risk response capacity, to enable more enterprises to apply advanced management tools that improve the informatization level of China enterprises and market competitiveness.
