The Study Of Analyzing And Promoting The Advantages Of Jiangsu's Shipbuilding Industry

Shipbuilding is a highly integrated industry,with characteristics of capital, technology, information and labor-intensiveness. It has big industry-related degree, involves a wide range of aspects and plays a very prominent role in stimulating the national economy. This thesis aims to analyze the advantages of Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry,makes it clearly understand of its own position in the competition, and fundamentally improves its own advantages to accelerate its sustainable and healthy development. This thesis mainly studies the following aspects by use of location entropy theory,the gray system theory,advantage theory,etc.By taking Shanghai,Zhejiang,Liaoning,and other provinces as references,by the use of location entropy theory and by combining the database of shipbuilding industry in recent years,this thesis comprehensively analyses and evaluates the developing trend of Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry, and arrives at a conclusion that there are obvious advantages in its shipbuilding industry and remarkable superiority in its marine equipment industry while it is weak in shipping repairing(disassembly)industry.Through combining the theory of competitive advantage,this thesis sets up a model of competitive advantage analysis of Jiangsu's shipbuilding,and analyses the elements of its competitive advantages,such as its advantages in location,shipbuilding history,labor force,technology R&D and industry clusters.This thesis,based on the characteristics of shipbuilding industry and following the principle of Index System constructing,constructs,for Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry, a comprehensive evaluation index system of 8 first-class index such as industrial environment,industrial structure, industrial efficiency,enterprise behavior,human resources,infrastructure,production and management,economy running and so on and 28 second-class index as industry location,policy environment,legal environment,relevant industries,resource endowment,location condition,etc. By Using gray system theory and advantage analysis theory and integrating questionnaires,it sees Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry as a large organic system,comprehensively analyzes and evaluates its advantage elements,and then gets down to the conclusion that shipbuilding industry in Jiangsu province has advantages in industry efficiency,industry environment,production and management,enterprise behavior,etc. Finally,in the combination of the above analysis on advantages of Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry,it puts forward to the path of enhancing its advantages from the actual situation of Jiangsu's shipbuilding industry: to optimize industry structure,to expedite the developing of marine equipment industry,to promote the development of industry clusters,to strength the communication with the government,to integrate the human resources and other measures...
