The project timing management will be studied base on Lear automotive seat program launching. Firstly the process of FCX project was totally analyzed by the related theory of project timing management and tools base on the Lear program management process. Secondly through optimizing the timing of program activity, timing plan will be under control. Finally making analysis for status of Lear management, the suggestion will be provided for the automotive part company.Firstly, the paper introduces the background, purport. Analysis about lots of literatures related to project schedule management is the foundation of this research. Some methods and content of this research are introduced .It also describes the project background and summary which include the development and current situation of Lear corporation, the management structure of project, the character of FCX project, the technology process of FC project and so on. Then it builds the protocol and of the planning and controlling on the FC project schedule. It makes the protocol through combine the project work net and CPM. After that the project is controlled by these methods both on planning and controlling process. They are making project work net, selecting check points, identifying the critical path, analysis the project and critical path schedule, then find the issue if there is. Based on the analysis result some actions will be made and executed to assure the FCX project not to be delayed. Finally the whole process and result will be appraise and some experience and apocalypse will be got. In addition, some issues and defects in the process of project schedule management will be summarized to get some further research direction.The result of this paper shows that the project work net and the CPM on the whole project and the critical path, plus dynamic monitoring on the critical path can make it efficient to identify schedule of the project and then control the FC project schedule well. It can be a model for new product project in manufacture.
