Under current market economic system, rapid economic and technological development brings tremendous survival pressure on every company. A large part of this pressure comes from products upgrading caused by rapid increase in science and technology. Upgrading not only shortens life cycle of product, but also takes up a large number of current assets of enterprises. Renting is obviously a good choice to use the limited liquid assets efficiently. It is yet impossible for modern enterprises to achieve more profits only by their own efforts. With the development of the idea of supply chain management, it becomes a trend that different company joins together to achieve maximum profits, i.e., how to effectively organize the members in one supply chain together optimize the overall profit. There is a outstanding progress in the research of sale supply chain, but a little progress in the research of rental supply chain. Therefore it is practically significant to introduce the thinking of supply chain coordination into the rental industries. This paper studies the rental supply chain and hopes to integrate each part in order to achieve optimality or sub-optimality. Firstly, it introduces the concept, classification and development history both at home and abroad about rent, and relevant contents about supply chain management and supply chain coordination. Secondly, it establishes a mathematical model of rental supply chain about perishable products and obtains that the revenue sharing contract can coordinate rental supply chain effectively. Thirdly, it assumes that two rental companies exist at the same time, and analyzes two conditions under Cournot and Collusion competition respectively. It is concluded that that revenue-sharing contract is also a useful method for coordination by comparing the profits of the two cases before and after integration. Finally, it makes a comprehensive summary of its content, and points out the shortcomings of research and directions of further research.
