Since the 90's, with the rapid development of IT industry, key technology of PC is monopolized by a few enterprises such as "Wintel" (Microsoft and Intel), and IT industry enter the era of meager profit, with product homogeneity and Increasing competition. IT is important for PC companies to change business model in order to achieve sustainable competitive advantage.By implementing "iPod+iTunes" representative of the HaaS (Hardware as a Service), the world famous "Apple" achieved Success in integration of the hardware+software+services, and changed from a traditional PC manufacturers into a digital media HaaS application service provider.This paper analyses HaaS business mode through theoretical research on "business model based on value network", From the customer groups, products and services target,Value network structures and participation,value realization, it Summed up five principles of the successful business model HaaS. And propose Innovative ideas. Through a case of Apple, it analyses how PC manufacturers to provide diversified consumer pc products combined with the services, and achieve service-driven sales, change from Product-based companies to the service-based, at last propose practical suggestions. This is significant for PC manufacturers achieving transition and maintaining a sustainable competitive advantage in the future.
