Research On The Industry Selection And Layout Of Tianjin Port Industry Park

With the national development and opening of Tianjin Binhai New Area,Tianjin Port Industry Park, one of the nine function area of Binhai New Area, is the important intermedium of Binhai New Area built to be an international shipping center and logistics center in northern China, which carrying the important task of making Tianjin to be the international port city, economic center of north and the eco-city. At the beginning of reclamation, Tianjin Port Industry Park is proposed on the development direction of the equipment manufacturing industry. However, some port area and development area of Tianjin Binhai New Area have proposed to enter the equipment manufacturing field, which make the Tianjin Port Industry Park facing enormous challenges and threats. At the same time, the outbreak of the international financial crisis in 2008 is in-depth, which have had a great impact on the world economy and even the real industry. As an established time is not long and not yet fully formed industrial area, how to deal with the financial crisis and the challenges and opportunities, achieve long-term stability and sustainable development has been the important topics of Tianjin Port Industry Park.In this paper, the strategic orientation and the industry selection of Tianjin Port Industry Park are studied on the basis of the analysis of the port industrial development theory and development trend of domestic and international port industries. Then the development layout and ideas of the Tianjin Port Industry Park is formed to direct the following investment invitation.First,analysis and identify the strategic orientation of Tianjin Port Industry Park under the macro-and micro environment: According to the study on the characteristics of the international industry transfer, the impact of financial crisis, the transition of the industrial structure of China, and the direct economic hinterland of Tianjin, combined with the analysis on the competitive situation of the peripheral as well as the park's own strengths and weaknesses area, the strategic orientation of Tianjin Port Industry Area is carried out.Then, determination of the industry seclection and the analysis: as the strategic orientation of Tianjin Port Industry Park to be the starting point, the "five-step selection method" and the "industry attractiveness– port industry area competitiveforces" model are used to determine the seclection of industry based on the AHP, and a detailed feasibility analysis of the industry is maked.At last, proposal of the development layout and the input-output analysis of Tianjin Port Industry Area: based on the strategic orientation and industry seclection results, the development layout of Tianjin Port Industry Area is proposed, and in accordance with the above-mentioned strategic orientation, the corresponding input-output analysis has been carried out.The proposed strategic orientation of Tianjin Port Industry Area, the industry seclection results and the development layout are being carried out successfully in the construction and investment work, which has a strong practical guiding significance.
