China's exports have sharply grown since 2001 due to China's WTO accession. As its exports increase, its export composition also changes a lot. These might bring some different effects to the export competition with other countries. China's export growth effect on Asian developing countries would be stronger than any other developing countries due to their regional proximity, comparative advantage and economy size and structure. China and Asian developing countries all strongly depend on the big advanced markets for their exports. Using the gravity modeling, this paper explores whether or not the growth of China's exports to the major markets has negative effect on Asian developing countries'exports to the major markets.
