Study On Industry Cluster Development Of Hangzhou Yuhang Innovation Zone

As a window and proving ground of China's marketization reform and open policy, the economic development zones play leading, radiating and exemplary role. They have become important growth-pole of the region as well as the whole country. The establishment of Hangzhou Yuhang Innovation Zone(HYIZ) in the end of 2008 acts as a key measurement to the threat of financial crisis, transformation and upgrading of economy, and practice of the Scientific Outlook on Development. Considering its sustainable development and comprehensive competitive strength, it is urgent to solve its industry cluster development issues.This paper reviews regional economics, industry economics, and development zones theory etc., laying a solid theoretical foundation to research. Combined with international and domestic economic situation and development trends, it focuses the macro-analysis of China, the Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou, and Yuhang District ,using SWOT analysis.This paper conducts a comprehensive in-depth analysis of the newly established HYIZ,gives industry cluster development ideas and vision of HYIZ development in the future.It gives industry cluster development planning, focus the development topic of "Intelligence industry," take Science, Technology and Knowledge Innovation, Green and Low-carbon as oriental of HYIZ's industry cluster development.In order to build HYIZ as demonstration area of Advanced Manufacturing Industries and pilot area of modern services industry, It plans three suitable major industry cluster:Electron Information Industry, Cultural Creative Industry and Service Outsourcing Industry. This paper designs a indicator system to competitiveness judgement of HYIZ industry cluster .It proposes recommendations and suggestions towords industry cluster development.This paper is based on the success experiences of domestic and international economic development zone and the status of HYIZ, sets a reasonable industry development planning and policy support system linking theory with practice. It plays a significant role of helping HYIZ to seize the high-end global industry, and further highlights the strategy status, to enhance the core competitiveness of the region, making it close up Shanghai and integrate into the Yangtze River Delta, promoting the development of Hangzhou metropolitan area. This study is conducted by literature analysis, field research, interviews, SWOT analysis and other methods, reflects not only the practice-oriented, but also theoretical depth.
