| Since getting into a new century, the whole world economic and industrial structure was changing in different degrees with the development of economic globalization. More and more production and operating activities and resources allocation to undertake in the global scope, and the port as the role of the only transshipment point from the sea transportation to other transportation modes was gradually weakened. The port has become one of the main links of the comprehensive transportation chain, and which in the part of the international trade and international logistics is highlighted. The port logistics has become an important field of modern logistics development. Moreover, port logistics is an important impetus of port hinterland of regional economy; therefore, research the relationship between port logistics and regional economic has become the hot issue in academic interests recent years.This paper took the relevance of port logistics and regional economy as the research object. Firstly, the paper summarized the present research status at home and abroad as the following three aspects:the relationship between regional logistics and regional economy, the growth of regional economy and the relationship between port logistics and regional economy, thereby to find the bases of this paper.Secondly, the paper based the previous analysis of the concept of port logistics, and put forward a new definition of port logistics from the perspective of region, and gives a detailed analysis of the process. In addition, the paper more profoundly summarizes the definition of regional economy, the distinction of the growth and the development of regional economy, the influence factors of regional economic growth and the theory of regional economic growth, which lays solid foundation for the chapter 3(research port logistics and regional economy interaction mechanism) and chapter 4(selection of index).Thirdly, the paper explained the interaction mechanism between port logistics and the development of regional economy based on the theory of regional economic growth. On the one hand, the effected mechanism model of port logistics and the development of regional economic was constructed; on the other hand, the paper analyzed the effect between port logistics and regional economy from the following three aspects:area multiplier effect, growth pole and agglomeration economy, and circular causal theory.Then, the paper built the index system of the relevance of port logistics and regional economy on the basis of defining the relevance connotation, and analyzed the relationship between the latent variables.Finally, the paper empirically analyzed the relevance of port logistics and regional economy. It selected the port cities of China's five coastal ports as sample, avoided the defects of most econometric methods, and built the Structural Equation Modeling. The paper used the Amos statistical software to analyze the relevance of port logistics and regional economy. Furthermore, according to the results of modeling, the paper came up with the reasonable development trend and healthy development countermeasures of the port logistics of China's five coastal ports. |
