Study On Development Strategy Of Non-optimal District Of Tourism Resources In Economically Developed Area

Under the guidance of the theories of regional tourism development and non-optimal district in tourism resources, this paper analyzes Taoyuan's tourism exploitation conditions such as resources, industries, location and market, etc. defines Taoyuan as the non-optimal district of tourism resources in economically developed area with apparent features of relativity, complementation, attachment and variability in tourism exploitation. The town is inferior in the quantity and quality of tourism resources and subjected to the shadow of the adjacent optimal districts of tourism resources. Therefore, special model of tourism exploitation has to be adopted. This paper demonstrates the unbalanced development in tourism and the very existence of non-optimal district of tourism resources in economically developed area, and thus serves as a supplement and improvement to the theory of non-optimal district of tourism resources. Consequently, as far as the Taoyuan's case is concerned, the integrated development model on the basis of process management theory has been proposed, which offers instructiveness to other similar areas.
