A Study On China's Capital Markets Regulation Institution

Since Reform and Opening, China's capital market has develeped for 30 years. Three decades is very short to development of capital markets in developed coutries. But to China in transition of economic system, the capital markets has undergone from the bud to maturity,from chaos to order during the three decades, and have a great influence on economy. If something happened to capital markets with inherently high risk and speculation, investors would suffer huge losses and the markets would become disorderly. It will also impact on the development of the national economy. So it is essential for the country to regulate the capital markets. Subprime mortgage crisis in 2007, is the best example. It catched the whole world's eye to the capital markets regulation. It is necessary to study the development history of the capital markets in our country and discover the problems in the regulation and make a attempt to give advice on it in order to make our country's capital markets and economic development healthier.This paper consists of three parts. The first part is to define the concept of the capital markets in the paper and explain the background, significance, research methodology and theoretical basis of the capital markets regulation. Literature review classifies summary of research progress on capital markets regulation.In the second part, the paper reviews the development process of China's capital markets, and then anlyses the evolution of China's capital market regulatory. In the part of the development process, it studies why China's capital markets come into being , expounds how China's capital markets developed from the bud to maturity and analyses what the salient features of the various stages are. In the part of the evolution of China's capital market regulatory, it introduces that the world's capital market regulation system is divided into three categories in general and teases out the development process of China's capital market regulatory system to analyse the causes of regulation change and feature of all stages.The third part makes a suggestion for the problem on our country's capital markets markets regulation. On the basis of the second part, it analyses what are the problem on the capital regulation and proposes solutions.
