Naoge in Ekou is one kind of the traditional fires of civil society and it is one kind of entertainment created by people to enjoy the Spring Festival and the Lantern Festival which begins in Ekou, spread around Yanmen Pass of Dai County, hosted by brigade, and acted by the excellent masses. The essay studies Naoge as an individual case fix-pointedly. Naoge carries the folk customs of different times and the folk customs will be kept in the wordless drama as a special cultural symbol. As the development of society and the impact of foreign culture, Naoge didn't stop changing not only in its appearance but in cultural features. After being evaluated as provincial immateriality culture legacy, it has taken part in some large-scale performance, which shows the changing process from folk activities to folk art.Based on the field investigate information, the research on Naoge makes use of theories and methods of folkloristic, anthropology, sociology, significs and many other branches of learning to describe the folklore item existed in folk life with inheritance and variability in details. What it tends to do is to try to appreciate the current living conditions, and development trend of Naoge, according to the change of roles from folk activities to folk art.This article is divided into four chapters:Chapter one gives an overview about Naoge in Ekou. It mainly introduces its original and historical development, natural and social environment where Naoge generates, geographical distribution region of Shanxi Ge and differences between Taige, Zouge and Naoge. According to this chapter, we can understand the existence and the inheritable background of Naoge more accurately. What's more, we are also able to make further research on it.Chapter two makes a live record of Naoge, and have event and subject return to the daily context. By doing this, it demonstrates the static folk resource as well as the dynamic folk activities of Naoge in Ekou. uses performance theory as well as related academic idea of oral narrative research, through the research on the multiple and interactive relationship between actors and audiences of Naoge, it thoroughly explores this kind of performing arts which considers art as its heart. On this basis, the article excavates the cultural intention of Naoge.Chapter three uses the symbolic anthropology, significs and other related theories to elaborate the symbolic significance of properties, costume and performance of Naoge, shows a lot of cultural information in the history of human beings that this kind of lively performance. On the other hand, with the unique symbol meaning, Naoge is able to accommodate to the dream and desire of people so as to carry out its function in daily life.Chapter four elaborates the change history and protection method of Naoge. As a kind of art performance between the traditional fires of civil society and art stage, especially after being included in the list of intangible cultural heritage.As in the development process, traditional culture can change slightly and also change completely because of the.outer influence.Conclusion:Naoge, the traditional fires of civil society, focuses on emotion and festival. But in modern society, its focus has already changed to stage dancing level. From the aspect of the discipline, the former belongs to folk-custom, which shows original biotic.meaning of Naoge in popular movement Entertainment becomes main cultural description; the latter belongs to folk art, reflecting the vividest graphic art of Naoge in art activities. Stage performance becomes main cultural description. Only by making clear the development procedure of Naoge from folk-custom to folk art, it can highlight the social responsibility of Naoge as the two roles.
