| Modern economics argues that human capital is the contemporary regional economic growth and technological innovation’s main power. Microscopic view says that the accumulation and increase of human capital make the production efficiency, and also can increase their pay higher returns; From the macroscopic view, social human capital development in improving the efficiency of the whole society factors of production, at the same time, the mode of economic growth and development will produce profound effect.Linxia Hui Autonomous State is one of the two minority autonomous states in Gansu province. Linxia Hui Autonomous State s natural environment and natural resources is poor; development of economic and public utilities is slow. Therefore, as a typical western China’s national economic development of backward areas, it must face relatively poor conditions for the development of physical capital, break the local human capital bottleneck restricting the local economic growth. Just increasing local accumulation of human capital, developing the new road of local human resources, it is possible to realize the sustainable development and economic development of the local economy model, to better protect local national unity and stability.This article compiled human capital theory, economic growth theory and human capital and the theory of relationship between human capital and economic growth. Based on which, we selected the combination of normative and empirical research methods; synthesized macroeconomics, development economics and regional economics theory.By the qualitative and quantitative analysis of two angles, building econometric model, analysis the human capital and economic development in the Linxia Hui Autonomous State. Finally, based on correlation analysis, combined with the actual situation in Linxia Hui Autonomous State, the paper put forward some suggestions to realize the sustainable development of local economy and the development of human capital. |
