AVIC SAC commercial Aircraft Company Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as"SACC") is a major manufacturer of commercial aircraft structures in China that mainly engaged in design, test, production and sales of commercial airplane parts and components. SACC was founded formally in 28th, Feb. 2007. In order to suit the AVIC strategy of integrating R&D resource and building up completed industrial chain of civil aircraft manufacture. SACC did not only take over all of the civil aircraft programs from its former company SAC, but also inherited the ability, resource and experience in production technique and civil aircraft manufacture management that had formed and accumulated by SAC for so many years. She will get together more comprehensive ability of R&D and batch production, further broaden her active participation into international civil aircraft manufacture industry.The subcontract program of SACC started from 1985, over 26 years development, SACC had collaborated with 14 civil aircraft manufactures in 8 countries in subcontract programs. Now, SACC has established stable international cooperation relationship with world famous aircraft manufacturers as Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier. The products cover structures of Boeing and Airbus serial aircrafts, Bombardier Q serial aircrafts; structures and cables of ARJ21. The cooperation range has developed into design, test, certification and after-market service fields from product manufacture only.The author recognizes the great importance of marketing in company's surviving and developing on the basis of her own marketing work and gives out her analysis of detail action to further develop SACC.Considering the particularity of aviation manufacture industry that is not well-known by common people. The first chapter is to introduce background of the company, the development of subcontract programs, technical ability, quality assurance and etc, then share some information about customers of SACC. The second chapter starts from the developing history of global civil aircraft, then summarize the developing trend of global aviation industry as a reference, and also analyze and introduce the current competition status of global aviation subcontract industry and the developing trend of national aviation subcontract industry. The third chapter is the core section, the author come up with some constructive ideas to the development of SACC:Identify development orientation of SACC------ to be the first level supplier of international civil aircraft field and the critical strategy cooperation partner of excellent international aviation companies, delicate to make a biggest design and manufacture base of civil aircraft in northeast of China, which in leading position of China. Besides focus on extend business in civil aircraft subcontract programs, the article comes up with an audacious assumption of future development of SACC by analyzing the current market of aircraft conversion and disassembly. SACC can join in a new field of market development: the whole aircraft conversion business and disassembly business. According to Boeing data, 2220 passenger aircrafts need to be converted to cargo aircrafts by 2025. In the conversion process, handwork takes the main part of job, so we can use the advantage as a labor intensive company; our cost is much lower than competitor abroad. Meanwhile, it helps some labors to find a job. Therefore, the whole aircraft conversion is a business growth point that SACC must strive for. At the same time, on aircraft disassembly business, there are great opportunities all over the world. If SACC can take the support from AVIC and Shenyang Government, combine with some recycling organizations of aviation scrap metal and aircraft maintenance bases, setup an aircraft disassembly centre, it will make SACC to be an outstanding aircraft assembly company, bring high profit to investor, find a new way of disposing retired aircrafts (including big passenger aircraft, regional aircraft and business aircraft) and extend the industrial chain. We can also use the experience of disassembly civil aircraft into the disassembly of military aircraft, it will make great contribution to our nation.The article points out some detail actions as a guide on the basis of the orientation of the company stated above:Integrated into regional economy development, find more support government. No matter see from the history or current situation, the civil aircraft industry cannot survive and develop without the consist support of the government. The aviation industry is the high-tech, high investment and high risk industry; it s difficult to form scale development only depend on SACC own ability because of long cycle time of product research, big investment of scientific research, high risk of technology, sharp market competition. Since the foundation of SACC, we have got the support not only from AVIC but also received the high attention and policy support from government of Shenyang and Liaoning province.Strengthen self construction, extend cooperation range according to the market requirement. If the growing SACC want to take a place on the international market, she must fully use the manufacture technology, management knowledge and international quality assurance system of modern civil aircraft that she has had, consistent strengthen self construction, try to converse from component supplier to sole supplier and risk subcontractor. (1) Strengthen the ability of research and development. Change the cooperation mode from the original manufacture with supplied drawing and material or manufacture per drawing to taking part in both design and manufacture, and strive for level 1 supplier cooperation mode in design and manufacture, (2) actively push the construction of detail manufacture line to solve the resource conflict issue with SAC, optimize supply chain while strengthen the detail supply ability of SACC, (3) set up center of excellence as soon as possible, consolidate our main subcontract products and our advantages, (4) on the basis of the integration program of Q400 to attract other integration programs of big aircraft components.Take market as orientation, combine with ourselves'advantage, bid tenders tactical. With the booming of aviation industry, many aircraft manufactures transfer their focus to China, especially to SACC who has long experience of aviation subcontract programs, familiar with management system of Boeing and Airbus, and has approvals related to AS9100 and NADCAP audits, all of our advantages are main attraction points of western potential customers. Under the pressure of economic crisis, many companies sent us inquire through associations and agents. As to those inquires, SACC must make reasoning judgments to gain the biggest profit for the company. The references of judgments are: whether the product of inquires in the range of center of excellence, lifespan forecast of the product of inquires, whether we have the ability of doing those programs, the purpose of custom of choosing SACC as supplier, whether the customer has the experience of subcontract program, customer's supporting way and strength to suppliers.Understand customer, strength management of customers'relationship, raise satisfaction level of customers. Aviation subcontract product is different from other products; it is a kind of defined product, it need to follow purchase order, delivery repeatedly and has long cycle time. Therefore, the relationship with customer is long-term and complicated, need long term maintain and operation. To properly manage the current customer and establish relationship with potential customer, author suggest to start from the follow points: manage customer by category, set up database of customers, understand and make quick response to complain of customers, confirm the achievement of program to establish confidence, visit customers periodically to understand the requirement of customers.
