The work of tour guide is a special profession, which requires a lot of energe, strong sustainability and high service expectation. As the tourism market becomes more and more competitive,the guides, professional environment is deteriorating.All this such as unreasonable managemet system, low social status, unreasonable firewood reward system and complicated interpersonal relationship results in more and more complex professional environment for tour guides.Under the circumstances, some tour guides believe that they can do well by virtue of their own skill and ability. That is called tour guides, professional self-efficacy.Tour guides work under great pressure,but the pressure is not definitely disabling.Proper pressure can stimulate tour guide's potential.But if the pressure keeps over a long period of time,one usually falls into a state of excessive professional nervous,which reflects in physiology ,phychology and behavior,such as sub-health,lose the passion for work,increase the dissatisfaction for work,lack the job security,pay no attention to the tourist,s interest and so on.The dissertation is based on these thoughts,using academic and empirical study to discover and solve the job burnout of tour guides.The whole paper can be divided into six parts.Part one: Introduction.Firstly,the implication will be discussed from the theoretic and practical angle.On this case, the research purpose will be released.And then, the issue and hypotheses will be put forward.After that ,crucial noun will be explained .Finally, creative points will be pointed out.Part two: Literature Review.The literature about professional self-efficacy, professional job-burnout and relationship between them will be inquired, analyzed and concluded.Part three: Study Design and Implement.This part introduces the researched object, researching method, data processing and statistics method, as well as the brief introduction of implementation.Part Four: Positive Analysis and Discussion. Firstly, investigation results will be analyzed.And then, the realities about tour guides, sense of professional self-efficacy and the difference for tour guides because of population variables will be discussed.After that, the realities about tour guides, sense of professional job-burnout and the difference for tour guides because of population variables will be discussed.Finally, the relevance between the tour guides, sense of professional self-efficacy and professional job-burnout will be explored.Part Five: Research Conclusion. five major points were concluded: The level of the tour guides, sense of professional self-efficacy is higher; The job burnout of tour guides is in low level;The professional self-efficacy of tour guides differentiates due to different gender,age,language,education background, grade, working year ; The professional job-burnou of tour guides differentiates due to different education background,working year;The better the professional self-efficacy of tour guide is,the lower job burnout will be.Part Six: Advice. The part explores all effective approach to preventing or reduing the job burnout and keeping or enhancing the professional self-efficacy of tour guides based on the existing circumstance of China and the province of Henan.
