Answering the call of the county, a lot of Chinese enterprises have gone abroad to participate in global competition. This is even so in Africa. It is reported that Nigeria shall be a building market which grows the fastest in the world in ten years to come. Chinese construction companies suit Africa in terms of engineering capabilities and characteristics. So many Chinese companies come to Nigeria in succession making competition among the enterprises tenser and tenser.Along with economical globalization and ever intensifying competition, modern management of logistics assumes a greater role in enhancing the enterprise's core competitive power. The logistics industry is commonly viewed as "the third source of profit". The concepts and methodologies of modern logistics management have been brought to the forefront by Chinese companies. The question of how to optimize the company's logistics and improve logistics management has become a fresh issue calling for urgent solution by the Chinese-funded companies.This text, picking the analysis of present situation of logistics management of a civil engineering construction company in Nigeria as a point of penetration, gives a brief account of challenges the company faces and points out the necessity of optimizing internal logistics towards target orientation so to reduce logistics cost.
