The Research On The Sustainable Transformation Of Coal Resource-exhausted Cities

There are three hot spots in the world today, population, resources and environment. The rapid advancement of technology in the world is at the cost of the sharp decline of the global environmental quality. To coordinate resources, environment and economic development, sustainable development has become the consensus of today's world. Sustainable development relates to the development of human society and the continuation of human civilization, and it affects the transformation of industrial civilization which has the history of over hundreds of years. Resource exhaustion affects the realization of China's sustainable development goals. Coal resources exhausted city as a special area in our country, presents typical features of a single industrial structure, low energy replace-industry, weak-associated industries and poor economic factor accumulation. We are confident that, with the social and economic development, the sustainable development study of coal resources exhausted city will be more intensively. This article first describes the background, purpose and significance of the transformation of resource type cities, then introduce the theoretical basis of resources exhausted city's sustainable transformation. By indicating the problems and difficulties in coal resources exhausted city sustainable transition, it made the corresponding recommendations and strategies, and put forward the assume on China's environmental law, hoping to give some enlightenment to China's coal resources exhausted city.
