Research On The Application Of Value Engineering In The Enterprise Location

In the past 30 years, unprecedented opportunity has been brought to the enterprises by the sustained and steadily development of China's economy. Enterprises have to expend their geographical markets in their construction and development. So enterprise location comes out conspicuously. Enterprise location has a far-reaching impact to the enterprise in its long-term development, construction investment, operation cost, etc.Enterprise location is influenced by various factors such as technology, economy, politics, culture, etc. For these factors often interlock and influence each other, there has increased a lot of uncertainty. In addition enterprise location is a work with very strong subjectivity, many enterprises cannot find principles to follow. Some of them follow the technology, some follow the geomantic omen, and some regard economy as the foothold. The decision often takes commanding officer's will as the core.This paper aims at enhancing the scientific and objectivity of enterprise location by introducing the theory and method of value engineering. First of all, the current situation and existing problems of enterprise location are elaborated, and the research, application and development of value engineering are introduced. Secondly, an evaluation index system is created on the basis of explaining the importance, principles, basic factor, characteristic, etc. Then a model of enterprise location is created through evaluating the function index by the method of AHP and evaluating the cost index by factor proportion method. Finally, a real case which is an enterprise location selecting by using value engineering is analyzed.
