Along with our country's economic and social development and the accelerating urbanization, the traditional government management patter for urban public facilities can not meet practical needs, problems like the government financial capital shortage, low operation efficiency and unreasonable decision-making mechanism arise increasingly. Marketiz ation of urban public facilities becomes an important measure to improve supply and efficiency, it is also an important strategic choice for urban construction and sustainable development of city. Based on the theory of public goods, natural monopoly competition, and new public administration,this paper perform theoretical analisis,practical summarize and comprehensive reflection about marketization of urban public facilities, which provide helpful reference of marketization reform on urban public facilities.This paper is divided into six parts. The first part is introduction, mainly talks about the backgrounds and significance of the topic, the actuaction and methods of the research.In the second part, essential concepts are clarified, thus form the theoretical basis on the theories of public goods, natural monopoly competition and new public administration. In the third part, from the analysis of the problems of traditional management patter of urban public facilities, the necessity and feasibility of marketization of urban public facilities is analyzed.The fourth part discribes marketization situation through case analysis of urban public reference, assesses results of marketizationfrom the Angle of overall,points out the existing problems, and explores the causes of problems.The fifth part puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to promote and perfect the marketization of urban public facilities.The sixth part is the conclusion about generaling and refining of this view, summarizes the achievements and analyzes deficiency.In one word, this paper hopes through analysis of marketization of urban public facilities, reunderstand the relationship between government and market in public economy areas,and provide more beneficial inspirations,for using marketization way to improve public economy transformation and the efficiency of public sector.
