Whether domestic or foreign, cultural industrial development is rapid and extensive. It directly or indirectly influenced people's production and life. Adorno's theory of cultural industry is an important resource of contemporary cultural research. This article is based on the analysis of Adorno's theory of the socio-economic and cultural background, namely-the market economy, the administered world, Germany's fascism, the United States of popular culture. Reveals the concept of the culture industry, characteristics and ignorance essential feature of the public's anti-enlightenment; analysis of cultural industry and the marriage between the ruling class ideologies; described the depth of Adorno's critique of culture industry. In Adorno's view, the standardization of cultural production and exchange, commercial, technical, cultural reification and alienation is the direct cause; tool rationality is the reality of the consequences of the culture industry; the "same philosophy" is a cultural industry cultural history basis, only through "Negative Dialectics" can break the culture industry and instrumental reason, to form a unique, viable heterogeneous culture.There is no doubt that Adorno's theory to deconstruct cultural industries "enlightenment" and prevalent in modern industrial society, rational civilization, its criticism of many useful ideas, but in the analysis and research, he did not correctly assess the promotion of culture and cultural industries democratization, mass and universal positive role, not only such, Adorno's negative of culture industry is single, lack of profound social and economic heritage as a support, which would affect his thinking the depth and breadth.
