To Undertake The Transfer Of Processing Trade In Western China

Processing trade is an operational activities,which import all or parts raw materials, components, packaging materials (imported materials) from abroad, processing or assembly by enterprises within the territory after the resumption of exports of finished products operations. Processing trade has play an important role in the economy, and occupying half of foreign trade long-term. China's processing trade originated the assembly-based processing business in the Southeast, and gathered coastal strip since then. However, with the development of economic, cost pressures, the tranferrence of international industries focus on financial services industry, and it crowd out the labor-oriented industries.And with the adjustment of processing trade policies, eastern and western implement different policy in restricted products,China confronted with upcoming wave of international transference of industry.The gradient transference of processing trade from the east will help the adjustment of industrial structure, the development of product processing, create more interests within a limited space and limited resources. The development of processing trade is slower in western, and there is a big gap between the eastern and western China, in the overall level of economic development. Some years ago, our countries committed to carrying out western development to narrow the gap between east and west. As we all know, the processing trade has played an improtant role in the economic development of eastern, and parts of those is transferring.So if we can take advantage of the opportunity of transferring processing trade,there will be an important growth point in "the West Triangle".This article focuses on analysis of the practice and development of processing trade in "the West Triangle". Chapters are arranged in detail as follows:The first chapter is introduction. In this chapter, it presents the background of researching and defined regional concepts. And then review of research status, finally introduced the contents and methods.The second chapter talk about trade-related theory and analysis the experiences of undertaking gradient transference of processing trade,where under developed areas in the past. this chapter take Japan and Wuhan as examples, study the experiences, and help for the development of "the West Triangle". The third chapter tell us the status and characteristics of processing trade's development and transference. This chapter sum up the status and characteristics of China's processing trade, the status and characteristics of gradient transference of processing. The forth part is about the development and undertaking of processing trade practice in "the West Triangle". This chapter first analyzes the development of processing trade status and features in "the West Triangle". The development of processing trade have grew up in recent years, the product structure which exports continue to be optimized and export processing zones play dominant role in exports. Then this paper tell us the importance of developing and undertaking processing trade. And then introduce the necessity and possibility of undertaking processing trade analysis the realistic basis in " the West Triangle". Finally the external and internal problems exist in the development of processing trade in " the West Triangle".The fifth chapter is empirical analysis. This chapter first summarizes the possible and main factors on the development of processing trade, and empirical analysis of Guangdong Province of various factors on the impact of processing trade, and finally tell us the level of logistics, market size, foreign direct investment, labor costs, infrastructure has played an important role in the development.
