Research Of The Supply Chain Information Sharing In Manufacturing Enterprise

Information sharing is the foundation for supply chain collaborations. Effective information sharing among supply chain members can enhance supply chain management efficiency via synchronized co-operation among supply chain members. Hence total supply chain management targets can be achieved. However, there are many obstacles met in the process of information sharing. There are technologic obstacles as well as management strategy problems. The study try to investigate such problems in supply chain information sharing and provide electronics manufacturing enterprise's information sharing platform based on SOA knowledge and service requirements.The study focus on the platform construction of supply chain information sharing. At first, it described main content of information sharing and information sharing models. It has analyzed the major obstacles in information sharing and provides solutions to such area obstacles accordingly. Then it discussed SOA knowledge and implementing technologies: XML, SOAP, WSDL and UDDI. SOA brings three functions to enterprises. SOA handles problems in technologic and management strategies; it enables quick response time to business opportunities. And it will save development cost by using existing resources.The study focus on contriving electronics manufacturing enterprise's information sharing platform based on prevailing SOA knowledge. The specialty of the study is setting up a platform that can solve current problems met in electronics manufacturing enterprise by using Enterprise Service Bus as portal and service's unit as basic unit. The study is founded on Shanghai Ericsson Electronics CO. Ltd to investigate problems, to bring forward information sharing platform architecture based on SOA and fulfill major service functions with SOA implementing technologies. Such services include product service, stock service, sales analysis and order services etc. We hope the points of view and methods in this study could be a reference for manufacturing plants which will build supply chain information sharing system.
