This article defines the definition and types of social networking service (SNS) and analyzes the other related concepts at first. Analysis from the perspective of Communication Studies, we can find SNS is a platform based on interpersonal relationships which has the feature of viral spread. Word-of-mouth marketing is the main manifestations of it, but the Integrated Marketing based on social media is the future development trend. We using"5Rs"of integrated marketing to analyze the possibility of viral marketing communication based on SNS to be an integrated marketing platform.Using the mode of information value chain to analyze marketing information spreading based on SNS platform, in order to learning the specific role of all aspects in this process. Therefore, it is likely to become an effective marketing channel. Compare the strengths and weaknesses of viral marketing based on SNS with traditional network marketing and search engine marketing, we will found although there are many advantages, it still have some disadvantage. We must overcome it in the future.The viral spread features of SNS platform, which established on human relationship, lead to a new marketing area coming out based on viral marketing. Undoubtedly, it will also be a main channel to/towards the future net marketing.
