As the development targets with Central Fair City and International Fair City have been put forward clearly in Shanghai Orienting 21st Century and 15th Programming perceived as two big tasks for Shanghai government, Shanghai fair industry, the representative of China fair industry, ranks the 1st in the same scope. To take Shanghai as an example, this thesis is intended to discuss the strategies and policies for fair industry with its brand development as to realize the development in spans for reference with the analysis in aspect of the fact, reasons, existing problems and related solutions for the development of Shanghai fair industry.Innovation of this article is: The brand of Shanghai exhibition industry development feasibility analysis, from the unified management, trade planning, examination and approval system, legal system, convention marketing, business strength, venue construction, exhibition of eight aspects of human resources to analyze the current status quo and find a solution to the problem, measures to arrive at the implementation of the Convention and Exhibition industry brand development strategy of Shanghai exhibition industry is a rapid and healthy development of a strong point of view of the handle.Innovation of this thesis lies in a powerful opinion that the brand development strategies implementation is crucial to the rapid and healthy development for Shanghai fair industry. Since 90s when China fair industry just came to birth, various problems and deficiency like small scale, low quality, bad service, repetitive fair, fake international fair, poor capabilities for enterprises, low output for guilds have shown up. To sum up, the author considers brand development strategies are the best solutions to all those fore-mentioned problems and obviously Shanghai should quicken its steps. What's more, Shanghai can afford to implement the brand development strategies nationwide first.
