| Farm hotel has been developed more than 20 years in our country. Besides its dramatic development and positive impacts, some negative impacts appear, and some of even influence the sustainability of farm hotel. Domestic researchers pay much attention to this topic. Some of them had explored and concluded the core problems, and pointed out the alternative is adopting endogenous development. This paper is inspired by the author's understanding of endogenous development and long attention to farm hotel in Zhejiang Province. It adopts system dynamics theory as the theory basis to study the mechanism of endogenous development through farm hotel. This paper is organized in three parts, in a planned sequence. The second part is the main part of this thesis.Part one is literature review on farm hotel and endogenous development, as well as introduction of ideas and methods of systematic dynamics theory.Part two takes qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis in a symbiotic way. Qualitative analysis is firstly adopted to analyze the research objectives and related theories on model building. Then quantitative analysis is taken to study the structural relationships between each factor. System dynamics theory is undertaken to build the systematic model for endogenous development in farm hotel.During the model building, initial attention is paid to the suppliers of farm hotel. Referring to the impact factors of farm hotel, the approximate research objectives are confirmed. Combining with the characteristics of endogenous development, these systematic factors are revised and improved. Further, this thesis combines causation analysis and flow structure analysis to build the research model, and adopts parameter change analysis and structure change analysis to assess the built model.Part three is an empirical study on a typical site, Guzhu Village in Changxin Couty, Zhejiang Province. This case study examines the ratio of three key factors of endogenous tourism development. Base on this, implications for future sustainability is provided. Through this research, this thesis suggests the power of endogenous tourism development is reflected in long term development. In short term, itsadvantages over other development models are very weak. The external context, like the special market demand and supply, social and cultural environment, and governance, has great influence on its ability to show its advantages. On deeply reconsideration, this thesis also recognizes its own shortages, and points out the direction for future research. To conclude, this thesis endeavors to be creative, original as well as practical. It not only does some extension on the mechanism of tourism development, but also a meaningful exploratory study to systematically adopt endogenous development in farm hotel. |
