Studies On The Sustainability Of Land-reclaimable Agriculture And Its Development Countermeasures In Henan

Land-reclaimable agriculture is the"national team"of China's agriculture as well as the demonstrator and driver for modern agricultural construction. Land-reclaimable agriculture has obtained considerable development since 30-years'reforming and opening-up to the world. Land-reclaimable economy has already become an important boost motor for agricultural economic development in our country. It has a new development trend in our country's sustainable agriculture development under the new situation. But some limiting factors are still exsisting: weak innovation ability in agricultural science and technology; serious damage to agricultural resource and ecological environment; unreasonable industry structure; and insufficient financial input. How to realize sustainable land-reclaimable agriculture, to increase agricultural workers'income, to improve the food security situation and to raise the agro-workers'living standard, are the great difficulties we have to confront with. Therefore, to further change the agricultural growth way and implement the intensive management of resources and the technology, have become the strategic choice for the sustainable development of land-reclaimable agriculture in Henan. After qualitative and quantitative analysis and careful evaluations of the development of land-reclaimable agriculture in Henan, some concrete countermeasures and suggestions are proposed as follows: to make green land reclamation and cultivation by advancing the construction of ecological agriculture; to make land-reclaimable agriculture to be more sustainable depending on science and technology; to improve integrated agricultural production capacity by strengthening the agricultural capital construction of land reclamation and cultivation; to promote the development level gradually by adjusting the land-reclaimable agricultural structure; to improve the quality and safety level of agricultural products by dvancing the agricultural standardization of land reclamation and cultivation; to promote the agricultural industrialization level of land reclamation and cultivation by developing industrialization of agricultural management.
