Study On The Public Transport Model Of Urban Communities

Urban transportation raises as a serious problem with the development of economy, thus, public transportation appears as the major solution for the contradiction between supply and demand. As the result of the city's developing, various demands of travel are needed. However, due to the irrational network structure of current public transport, especially the unreasonable distant between public transport net-point and various individuals, causes a distinct reducing of public transportation demand. In addition, because of the limitation of the cost to expand the traditional public transport services, developing a flexible and customizable transport system is the key to improve the attraction of public transportation.The article introduced the concept of urban communities. Because there is a larger resident population density in urban communities and large amount of travel occurring and the road network is relatively closed and so on. The effective community-based public transport services is helpful to relieve the problem of residents' demand. At the same time, effective community-based public transport services can solve the problem of urban public transport supply and demand .It also fill up the bank that conventional bus service left and really highlights the advantages of urban public transport.This article is centred on how to meet the travel needs of community residents and combine with the existing pattern of community-based public transport. The target is to improve the service of entire public transport system.This paper proposes the mode of community of small bus - battery car and proves this mode's social and economic benefits.The main study and conclusion of this paper are involved in these aspects:(1) According to the diversification of the travel demand, the paper analyzes the demand of the urban transport from the perspective of traveler, the managers of the urban transportation system and the community;(2)Based on the community and combined with the characteristics of the community, as well as the status quo of China's traffic through, then according to the characteristics analysis and comparison of the modes of transport currently existing, the paper conceive a flexible, environmentally-friendly mode of transport community - battery car model.(3)To Central South University's bus community as an example, the paper studies the probability under the theory of disaggregate and demonstrated that the battery car model can facilitate the travelers and help increasing the attractiveness of public transport.(4)Based on the basic information of the battery car model, which are operated in schools, the paper measures and calculates the economic benefits of the community which with no battery car under the theory of fully demonstrated that the model of bus community's socio-economic benefits...
