Study Of Development Of The 4^th Party Logistics In China

This thesis discussed the 4^th party Logistics (4PL), by using several management theories. After analysis, the development strategy of 4PL in China is concluded. This thesis composes four chapters. The 2^nd chapter introduces 4PL concept and the substance of 4PL. The 3^rd chapter gives the operation mode of 4PL, and analyze the controversy towards 4PL. In the 4^th part the practice and main problems of 4PL practice in China and other countries are analyzed. In the last part, the SWOT is used for analyzing the 4PL development in China. After that, four strategies are concluded. First, expand the 3^rd party logistics business in China, which will play the foundation for 4PL. Second, choose the mode of cooperation between 3PL and 4PL as the main operation mode of 4PL. Third, develop and promote the E-commerce in Logistics, and establish the integrate in information system for 4PL. The last but not least, support 4PL by government, which will give the good circumstance for developing 4PL in China.
