| It is worldwide acknowledged that the implementation of Business Information System (BIS) is usually recognized as an IT project. Samples for the successful system implementation have been very rarely seen and the reasons why so many IT projects ended up with failure have attracted social researcher's attention, as well as individuals who aim to deliver a successful implementation. This research intends to find out what critical successful factors are and how small and medium size company (SME's) should manage these factors in order to make a successful implementation of an IT system. Also will the author participate and experience the entire process of project implementation and study how these critical successful factors are related with the characters of a small am medium size business. Firstly, an in-depth literature review on contemporary argument for the proposed issue has been taken in order to gain a summary of the pervious discussions. The research, then, gives discussion to the practical characters of SME's , followed by a in-depth discussion on the critical successful factors in delivering SME's IT project. Having studied the difficulties in implementing SME's IT system, the author found 7 factors that are having significant impact to the result of the implementation. The research continues to discuss the strategies of controlling and managing these significant factors at system implementation. By a case study, the author try to introduce reader how the strategies were deployed in order to ensure the defined critical successful factor was under controlled and well managed. Finally, the paper gives prove to the critical successful factors for IT project implementation and how effective the promoted strategies are helping business to manage and control these factor sat work of implementation. The study at last claimed few constrains of this research and declared potential topic that worth future studying. |
