On The Bilateral Trade Structure Of Sino-Kazakhstan

Foreign trade Structure of is an important aspect of a country's foreign trade,it reflects the development level of foreign trade,it also reflects the country's economy strength,the level of domestic industry development and the competitiveness situation enterprise. With the deepening reform and opening up of china's socialist market economy,Kazakhstan's economy has seen a rapid development,its policies and regulations of economic and trade have been improved gradually,the trade between Kazakhstan and China has been closed increasingly,and the foreign trade value has been increased steadily. However,there are still some problems that have existed for a long time and hard to solve. One of the most prominent problems is that the trade structure,it mainly shows as:Low value-added products occupies a larger share of bilateral trade,and the share of high value-added goods is relatively small. Although the formation of this trade structure has a certain historical inevitability,but with the continuous increase of international energy prices and the fierce competition between large countries to occupy the market of Kazakhstan,the trade form of the Kazakhstan and china that solely relies on the comparative advantages of factor endowment is bound to change. The situation that china relies on cheap labor,raw materials and primary products to export a large number of labor-intensive products will face an unprecedented bottleneck. And the imbalance of import and export trade between Kazakhstan and China will become increasingly obvious.This article is carried out based on the above economic situation. First of all,on the basis of the relative trade structure theories,the article uses the method combining quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis,empirically analyzes the merchandise structure of Import and Export between Kazakhstan and china in 2002-2007 , selects the index of trade integration , trade competitiveness ,intra-industry trade to analyze the comparative advantage of Kazakhstan and China. Through the analysis,this paper argues that China's trade dependence on Kazakhstan is not strong. But Kazakhstan's degree of trade integration on china is high. The trade structure between two country is based on comparative advantage,it has strong complementary,and it is very suitable for the factor endowments model. Secondly,the article analyzes the problems of bilateral trade structure of Sino- Kazakhstan from the angle of trade structure subject and settlement patterns. If these problems could not be solved well,it will blocked the smooth development of trade of Sino-Kazakhstan. Thirdly,the article analyses a variety of factors that influences the bilateral trade structure development from the aspect of positive and negative,and pointes out that the changes of international environment or the domestic environment between Kazakhstan and China will promote Kazakhstan and China's trade structure. And the economic integration process in Central Asia,Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States,the fierce competition between developed countries and neighboring countries of Kazakhstan will constrain the trade between Kazakhstan and China. Finally,the article takes the advantage of the adjacent geographic advantage of Xinjiang and Kazakhstan and favorable opportunities of China's western development, carries out the correspondent suggestion from the angle of government and enterprise. The structural optimization of trade between Kazakhstan and China should be expanded and innovated based on the theory of comparative advantage,combines the inherent comparative advantages with the founded comparative advantage,and it is necessary to maintain the important position of labor-intensive and raw material products in the export structure,create and establish the international competitiveness of capital-and technology-intensive products,in order to achieved the purpose of optimizing the trade structure between Kazakhstan and China.
