There are 56 ethnic groups in China. Most of the minorities are living in the west. Due to the historical, natural geographic,and cultural factors, there are always a big differences between west and east. In the modernization process dominated by Chinese government, the ethnic minority areas are facing a series reforms, experiencing the changes happened in social, economic and cultural fields. Ethnology and anthropology especially focus on the small communities in modernizational process, studying the cases of changes, to give a description of the changes of tradition and also analysze the cause of changes happened, explaining the changes in the significance of cultural.Based on the literature material, using the theory and methods of ethnology and anthropology, within the framework of the ethnic minority areas,this paper gives a study about a small communities - ErDaoQiao bazaar. In the modernization of the change in in-depth investigation and research,this artile trys to put forward a kind of different market research and understanding from the perspective of economic anthropology ErDaoQiao bazaar's change. That is to say, from the perspective of culture and economy of bazaar, it trys to describe the economic behavior of events, businessmen and interactive relationship, to find and explain its intrinsic meaning.This article is based on the field work of Erdaoqiao bazzar, consisting six parts.The first chapter is introduction. Mainly introduces the reasons and the significance of the research topic, methods, theories and objects, the field survey and study basis.The second chapter is talking about the cultural changes to ErDaoQiao bazaar system, after the founding of China at 1949. Since then, different periods of economic system and relevant policy to ErDaoQiao made it became a modern bazaar from a traditional bazaar. It is an importrant downtown area with multi-funtion as center of commerce ,trade, and tourism, and it is also an important store supplying living material for local ethnic minorities.The third chapter is talking about Uygur businessman's behavior changes, through describing the traders' actions and religious life changes, analysis the causes of behavior change of businessman culture.The fourth chapter is the spiritual and cultural changes in the businessman group, mainly talking about the traders traditional business, the businessman cultural adaptation.The fifth chapter is talking about ErDaoQiao bazaar changes of economic anthropology, using knowledge economy "in the theory of social chimeric" ErDaoQiao explains the changes in market, Stuart Plattner use of "personalized", the relationship between economic ideas Uygur businessman traditional commercial culture change.The last part is summary. ErDaoQiao bazaar is a miniature of the ethnic minority areas, it reveals the changing process of xinjiang multi-ethnic areas in the process of modernization, a trait phenomenon: the traditional culture in the modernization process was not disappeared, but there exists a modern culture and interactive. The paper also illustrates the research in many regions of modernization, to understand the relationship between traditional and modern to abolish the black-and-white thinking and understanding in discussing economic phenomena, anthropology, especially the knowledge of economic anthropology is worth using for reference. |
