Based on this, According to the characteristics of Daqing Oilfield business organizations and the characteristics of staff. The personality which affects the performance of the leaders will be as a dimension of the three contingency model. In addition to , the situations in which the leaders and their followers will be as two other important dimensions of the three contingency model, Thereby building the three contingency model of competency of leaders in Daqing Oilfields. And questionnaire survey and expert evaluation method were used to evaluate the competency of leaders. Hope to provide the basis for Daqing Oilfield in selecting leaders.
