This paper mainly discusses the theory of the market mechanism in Western Economics and Political Economics in the study of teaching reform. A long time, the theory of the market mechanism in Western Economics and Political Economics runs counter to the phenomenon of existence. This phenomenon not only makes the teacher feel confused in the teaching process, but also makes the students feel puzzled as they are in learning. At present, because of the teaching theory of the market mechanism does not have a unified teaching system; this paper hopes to trace the development of the theory of market mechanisms and try to explore the similarities and differences in the theory of the market mechanism in Western Economics and Political Economics. In this paper, the focus of the study is trying to build a unified theory of the market mechanism teaching system in order to establish a general direction for teaching reformation.This paper is totally of five chapters.Chapter I is the introduction. It is mainly about background topics, research significance, research at home and abroad, research ideas, research methods, innovation, and inadequacies of the study.Chapter II is the theoretical basis for the entire thesis. Paper systematically describes the development of the theory of market mechanism abroad---- summing up Adam Smith, David Ricardo, Marx, Keynes and Post-Keynesian era of development of the theory of the market mechanism; and reviewed the theory of the market mechanism's development before and after China's reform and opening--- expounding the theory of the market mechanism put forward by the older generation of economists, such as Gu Zhun, Xue Muqiao and Wu Jinglian. Through the analysis, the paper is to further explain the connotation of the market mechanism, and give a theoretical groundwork for doing a comparison between the market mechanism theory in Western Economics and Political Economics.Chapters III and IV are the core of the thesis. In Chapters III, the status quo of the theory of market mechanism in Western Economics and Political Economics were studied and were given a comparison and summary. Then, some problems in the teaching process were proposed in this chapter: there are two quite different systems in teaching content; teachers lack of teaching methods, and the students cannot integrate the theory with practice very well; and"Western Economics"impacts"Political Economics". On the basis of the problems proposed in the Chapter III, Chapter IV analyzes the research on teaching reformation of the theory of market mechanism in college economics courses; and hopes that the problems in the teaching process can be solved by the teaching reformation measures.Chapter V is the conclusion of the whole thesis.According to reference the research through at home and abroad, this paper studies the teaching of market mechanism theory in Western Economics and Political Economics comprehensively and systematically; and proposes measures of teaching reform based on some problems. However, because of some subjective and objective reasons, there are still inadequacies in the study. In the study of content, because of the inadequate practice experience of teaching in Western Economics and Political Economics, there are some inadequacies in the part of the teaching reform measures. In research methods, because of the empirical analysis and case analysis are mainly employed in the thesis, the research methods perhaps have a little monotonous.
