At present, small and medium-sized enterprises have a major contribution to the development of our country. But because of the old system and its culture have enormous inertia, environmental obstacles still exist which go against the development of small and medium-sized enterprises. Social networks are a form of social capital, it directly impact on the growth of enterprises. This paper mainly studied the relationship between social networks and the growth of small and medium-sized enterprises.Nearly all the literatures just study general enterprises at present. Selecting the enterprises in Zhejiang Province as samples, this paper did the research from the perspective of small and medium-sized. In this paper, it adopted lots of methods including literature research, interviews, questionnaire and quantitative analysis, and got the results that social networks drew a significant impact on the growth.of small and medium-sized enterprises. through the correlation analysis, it found that there are strong positive correlations between the major dimensions of social networks and the growth of enterprises'. In addition, this paper also got the result that the evaluation of corporate social networkst should do from a whole layer, the main layer of dimensions and branch-level layer of dimensions.the main layer of dimensions included network architecture, network resources, network norms and network dynamic. In this paper, there are innovations on research methods and topic. It built a comprehensive evaluation system for the social networks of small and medium-sized enterprises, which has reference value in this field. Also, it has certain significance for the construction of social network.
