The labor relation is a barometer of the harmonious society. A harmonious type of labor relation eliminates many discordant notes caused by the potential differences between strong capital and weak labor. It is the precondition of a healthy and stable economy. Harmonious labor relation is an important component and foundation of the harmonious society. A harmonious labor relation will help both employers and employees to become partners, share enterprise development proceeds, cultivate the employees'sense of belonging and cohesion, and improve the employee's job engagement. Both of the employers and employees consider Job engagement as the common contract. The company have the responsibility to create a meaningful workplace for employees and the employees have the responsibility to dedicate their force for such a place. Based on the review of the relevant theory of the labor relation and employee's job engagement, this paper analyzed the basic concepts, connotation, features and influencing factors of harmonious labor relation firstly. It also gave a further study of the relations between labor relation and employees'job engagement. The study indicates that harmonious labor relation contributes to increase the improvement of employees'job engagement. Secondly, with the combination of adjustment modes, coordination mechanisms and early warning mechanism of the harmonious labor relation, this paper proposed some operationnal advices about harmonious labor relation based on employee's job engagement. This article belives that the comprehensive contract management, participating in the management, tripartite coordination mechanism and early-warning mechanism are the key and important factor to build a harmonious labor relation, combined with the methods to improve the employee's job engagement.
