The Changes On Civilized Idea Of The Club Of Rome

The Club of Rome established in April, 1968 in Italy, and named from this. As an international, non-government, non-ideology and loosen structure scholarly research association and social group,it creates the first researches on "the global problem -atique" threatening human existence and contributes a great deal to awakening people's awareness of ecological environment protection and motivating people's sense of social responsibility.After the technical revolution, The Club of Rome thought that the global ecology restraint to the development on the whole world of the 21st century has had the important influence, and gave the warning to this kind of influence, it was the first time to give the warning by this kind of way. The new technological revolution causes the humanity to enter the global times, the population - economy - environment system is huge and complex, has the global character in the scale, relates universe's benefit, and is called as "the global problematique". These problems include: population problem, industrialization fund problem, grain problem, non-renewable resources problem and environmental pollution problem (ecological equilibrium problem).The Club Of Rome proposed that "the global problematique" need the global motion. The Club Of Rome pursues "the human situation research" as own research topic, in all available knowledge foundation, encourages these to be able to correct the present condition, the new manner, the new policy and the new system. In other words, it changes the humanity the manner and the motion direction in the understanding and the practice to the environment.From the establishment until now, The Club Of Rome has passed through 40 years. Along with the time passage and its researches develop ,its horizons have been broadened and its focus has also been changed. Therefore, its ideas have been improved and raised to a higher level. From its first report THE LIMITS TO GROWTH ((1972),the Club of Rome has unfold a succession of studies concerning about global problems, and has formed a series of reports, its angle of view transformed unceasingly, covering economy, ecology, society, politics, culture, humanity and so on. It proposed a series of theories and thoughts, which have been regarded the bases or cornerstone of studies on global problems.This thesis mainly centers on the development of The Club Of Rome, the main thoughts and the civilized idea transformation, in order to as far as possible have an exhaustive, clear, integrity understanding about the civilized idea.
