The Research On The Quality And Safety Of Agricultural Products Under Sociology Horizon

This study is based on the using of Pierre Bourdieu's social practice theory and standing on the position of farmers to focus on "why the quality and safety of agricultural products can be a problem" and "how to solve the quality and safety of agricultural products possibility " with the security perspective and chemical prodcution starting point.The study finds that the main reason of "why the quality and safety of agricultural products can be a problem" can be summed up in the following two aspects: First, the chemical production of agricultural products was the direct cause of the outbreak of the quality and safety crisis. This is mainly manifested in the physical sense, the selection, the choice of chemicals and use of non-standard as well as the sale of three. Further analysis finds that the chemical production of the farmers are behind the implicit logic of their individual security to survive——do not use chemical fertilizers and pesticides will not lead to the production of peanut production. Chemical production serves as the existence of weapons of the weak protection role. It has nothing to do with morality, which is just a simple survival or the practice of rational logic. Second, the nature of the quality and safety of agricultural products problem is the fundamental crux of the problem. The conflict of agricultural products as a tool for personal survival and security as public goods leeds to the conflict of the survival of individual security and safety of the community as a whole, which is the roots of "why the quality and safety of agricultural products can be a problem". In the face of individual security and social security safety of the conflict, the author points out that "the Government——farmers" the dynamic interaction is possible paths to solve the problem of the quality and safety of agricultural products.Secondly, We also find that: (1) With the field constraints in rural areas, farmers have their own practice in line with the logic of the concept of security systems; (2) The amount of pesticides and fertilizers is effected only by the amount of annual income from peanut farming, peanut planting area and the average annual income, not related to other structural factors;(3) "Boomerang effect" in the farmers have been verified and physical embodiment——As producers and as consumers of the body is subjected to physical security crisis "double violation."...
