| Logistics plays an important role in the production process of Steel Tube Corporation. Through the systemic investigation and research into Steel Tube Corporation, a series of problems are found in their internal logistics, such as long-time waiting for transportation vehicles to load and unload, excessive logistical operation workers, disordered transportation organizations and high transportation fee, all of which passively influence their whole productive efficiency. To stand in the fierce competition from the domestic and the oversea and further get long-step development, Steel Tube Corporation should place more importance in their logistics and refer it as an initial step for their future overall strategy. The paper is aimed to study on the optimization design and also propose the practical solution for Steel Tube Corporation internal logistical transportation (hereinafter referred as " ILT " in short) based on the above said background.The first part of the paper is focused on the systemic analysis and scientific research into Steel Tube Corporation internal logistics especially the logistical transportation, and raised some diagnostic problemss about their internal logistical transportation. The second part of the paper introduces some relating general theory on the ILT optimization for steel manufactories, makes research into the above issues, and then divides the optimization of Steel Tube Corporation ILT into two steps. The first step is to build the packet model based on the transportation period, to solve the packet model to use the Dynamic Clustering Algorithm, and to transfers Steel Tube Corporation internal route optimization route problem into five branch route optimization problems. The second step is to analyze the advantages to use the Pull and Drop Transportation (hereinafter referred as "PDT" in short) in Steel Tube Corporation ILT according to PDT theory, to optimize Steel Tube Corporation internal transportation organization, to design the algorithm and program to solve the branch route optimizations, respectively to solve the shortest route of the five branch transportation routes, and also to design the organization form for the PDT on the pull trucks to the trailers. The validity and the practicability of the two step optimization are verified by taking HengGang for example. From the two steps the conclusion is drawn that the transportation optimization can shorten the waiting time for the transportation vehicles to load and unload, reduce the usage amount of the pull trucks, trailers and operation persons, greatly increase the logistic transportation efficiency, therefore make positive influence on Heng-Gang whole production flow. The last part of the paper is to make general conclusion of the whole paper, raise some objective insufficiency of the current optimization design, and propose several further research direction. |
