Between the road network and the national economy can affect each other, constraints, and can affect each other. To the sound development of the national economy requires the development of road network and the national economy should be adapted to each other. In view of this, there is a need for the road network and economic situation of adaptive research. In this paper, the existing road network and the national economic development, adaptive research carried out a systematic overview, from the adaptive features of the concept and embarked on the road network and economic development of the mechanism of the interaction analysis, on the highway network and mutual influence of the national economy were key factors in the analysis; identified road network development and adaptability of the concept and objectives of the national economy into the system; and through the transport demand and transport supply balance analysis of the highway network and the adaptability of national economic development for analysis. Starting from the concept of adaptation, adaptive analysis of identified indicators and targets into the road system and national economic indicators, the indicators have been reviewed, through research to determine the standard value.Subsequently, the paper used in the detailed analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of a variety of evaluation methods, the use of DEA to identify comprehensive evaluation method, select the appropriate model. In the establishment of highway construction and economic development evaluation model adaptive process, made a binding preference cone method of comprehensive evaluation of the DEA.Finally, Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province as an example, empirical analysis.
